Yard Debris Tips/Reminders (Click-Flyer)

Using a landscaper for your yard work?
Your contractor has to remove own debris (note-debris removal is embedded in your landscaper quote/bill).  Our contractor will not collect landscaper yard debris.

If you have done a lot of yard work on your own, remember the following (also in flyer above)

1.   Cut limbs to four (4') feet
2.   Bag all leaves/loose clippings (no plastic bags)
3.   Double check for blowing debris (vendor can't rake up leaves)
4.   Town contracts for one truck/week for yard/bulk to service all of Island. Thank you for your patience if the truck cannot collect a large pile of clippings/limbs from your home in one weekly collection.

Charleston County Environmental Management/Recycling provides bi-weekly Island-wide residential curbside recycling collection.  Residents receive one roll-out blue recycling can for all eligible recycle material.
Collection is every other Wednesday (except for holiday week schedules).
